Miniature Car Collection Lucky Star
Off in the distance you hear a loud roar of an engine coming toward you. As it flies by you expect to see a bright red sports car with racing stripes, but instead you find your favorite anime characters lovingly decorated all over the hood. A recent "Itasha" boom has in Japan, which fuses the aspects of Import racing and otaku culture, creating a one of a kind alliance. Toymaker Aoshima brings to you these awesome Itasha replicas featuring the cast and crew of Lucky Star. Each care is 1/64 the scale of the original, is fully colored and decorated and comes with a display stand. This is for an individual car purchase for the Yellow Vertex AE86 Sprinter TRUENO.

"Itasha" literally means "pain car" in Japanese, suggesting that these cars garishly decorated with colorful anime character graphics are embarrassingly painful to look at, or ride in. A bit harsh, perhaps, but there you have it! Another take on the name is that it's riffing on the similar sound of the nickname for Italian cars, also pronounced "Itasha" but with the kana for Italy's "Ita" in place of the kanji for pain (also pronounced "ita" in this combination). "Sha" in both cases means "car."
This Ita-sha collectible series features a total of 10 possible types of two kinds of cards--the Vertex Mazda FD3S RX-7 and the Vertex Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno--to trade and collect, each decorated with graphics of the anime "Lucky Star"! Sold by the randomly packed box of 10.
